Scratchboard Experiment 1

This is a piece I did using scratchboard, an art paper with a glossy white surface that can be coated with black india ink. When dry, white lines or marks can be scratched or scraped onto the surface, revealing the white board beneath. Several scraping points can used to make differing line styles or textures. A number of interesting effects can be created with this medium, some minor ones I've demonstrated here. (really sounds like I know what I'm talking about) If one does a search on dA, I'm sure there will be much better examples of Scratchboard art to see.
